Bargain Wednesday

Let me tell you all about my awesome day yesterday. I've reached a point where I have a little bit of spending money so I told myself, "HANG ON TO IT. SAVE." Then, a girl I work with gave me a pair of size 7 jeans. I tried them on and my roommate said, "oh my god, it's so good to see you in pants that fit." I realized I needed to buy new pants a while ago (EVERYTHING I OWN IS TOO BIG. LIKE SIZE 12 BIG.) so I decided to use the opportunity to buy pants.

First I went to TJ Maxx, where I am a Maxxinista, and bought a pair of size 6 SHORT pants! Do you know how hard it is to find short size pants? They were on sale for $15.oo. Bam.

I sauntered over to Rue 21 where they had a whole table of shirts for $3. I bought three shirts (all with tags that said $10.99) for $11!

Then, I had a coupon for $15 off my birth control, so instead of $42, it cost $27.

That night, Zack and I had tickets to see 50/50. I signed up for a website years ago that gives me passes for pre-screenings in my area. So, we got free passes to the movies. And, because our tickets acted as validations, so parking was also free.

We were starving after, so we headed over to The Bayou, where I had a $25 gift certificate. I work there occasionally, so I get deals while I'm there. We only wound up paying $9.

I'm just thrilled with how everything turned out yesterday. I'm planning on hitting up sales a Target today and later going to Plato's Closet for some jeans. Party on!
